Fiber Space Makers Studio is currently holding open studio hours.

Our current weekly gatherings are:
Thursday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
and Sunday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Stop in and see what our members are working on and feel free to bring a project of your own. ​Whatever your skill level or fiber interest, you are sure to find a kindred spirit here at the Fiber Space Makers Studio!

All classes are $25 for members and $45 for non-members unless otherwise noted.
Fiber Blending - Creating Art Batts
Saturday, Jan 13, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
In this class, we will use our own fiber and some odds and ends, to create art batts to spin into beautiful yarns.

Intro to Rigid Heddle
Saturday, Feb 17, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This class will provide the basics of warping a rigid heddle loom, winding the shuttle, and the basics of weaving.

Spinning Wheel Tasting
Saturday, Mar 9, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
We will have a variety of spinning wheels and spindles to play with. If you are interested in buying a wheel or spindle-- stop in and play with our wheels and find out what you like before you buy.

Learning to Spin on a Wheel
Saturday, Mar 23, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This class will teach you the basics of spinning yarn. Including fiber choice, fiber preparation to make spinning easier, and the basics of drafting. No spinning experience is necessary!

Intro to Wet Felting
Saturday, April 13, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
In this class, we will learn the basics of felting and leave with a completed project. Class cost $40 member and non-member. Additional materials cost.

Spinning on a Drop Spindle
Saturday, May 18, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Learn the basics of spinning on a drop spindle

Private lessons
One-on-one lessons in weaving, spinning, and knitting, are available upon request. Private lessons may include equipment rental if needed.
